These are pictures from the Red Kite feeding station.

The Kite feeding centre is really a set of working farm buildings with some buildings devoted to Red Kite conservation.  A short walk from the car park there is a field with a circular track for the tractor to distribute the meat.  You go into huts "hides" around the circular feeding area so you get really close to the action.  The crows come down first as a sign that it is safe, then the Kites appear, swirling overhead, then diving for the meat.  When we went the albino, white kite was there - a very rare sight indeed.
